My approach starts with understanding the why before touching the how. I spend time on research, structure, and systems thinking before making visual decisions, because design that holds together conceptually tends to hold together visually too. The result is work that is clear, considered, and built to last across every format and environment.
End-to-end product design across web and mobile, from problem framing and wireframing through to high-fidelity UI and interaction design. Experienced working within product triads alongside engineers and product managers, balancing user needs with technical constraints and business goals.
Product and UX design
Conducting user interviews, building personas, empathy maps, and journey maps to ground design decisions in real user behaviour. Comfortable synthesising research into actionable insights that inform both product direction and visual decisions.
User research
Developing brand foundations from positioning and strategy through to visual identity, typography, colour systems, and application across digital and physical touchpoints. Experienced working with regulated and corporate brands where trust and consistency are non-negotiable.
Design systems
Building and maintaining scalable visual systems, component libraries, and brand guidelines that ensure consistency across products and touchpoints. Experienced adapting systems across print, digital, and web environments including accessibility considerations.
